Looking to spend the afternoon outdoors instead? Marshall is home to over 30 miles of pristine biking and hiking trails, including the beautiful Camden State Park located just minutes from town. You can hike the Dakota Valley Trail, overlooking the Redwood River Valley, trout fish on the Redwood River, or take a dip in the spring-fed pond.

This includes a state-of-art hockey and event center at the Red Baron Arena and Expo. The arena has played host to several regional and state competitions including a spotlight event by the Minnesota Wild. 

Marshall is also home to Southwest Minnesota State University and the Division II Mustangs. No matter your sport, you can catch the Mustangs in actions throughout the year. SMSU also has a well-known theater department which showcases musicals, concerts, and plays open to the public.
